The Chef, Kitchen and Food
The guiding principle of Chef Ran Shmueli’s kitchen is the use of fresh, seasonal ingredients – a truly “Farm-to-Table” cuisine. Fresh agricultural produce arrives daily to our kitchen. Fish are freshly caught on the same morning and herbs are hand-picked from our garden minutes before they are chopped and prepared.
Not only fresh, quality ingredients shape our menu – you do as well! Having no permanent menu, we’ll sit down together and define a creative culinary concept especially for your big day.
Maarava is situated in the heart of the Sharon and comprises three successive areas, each offering a totally different experience. An enchanting avenue of eucalyptus trees welcomes the guests. In our garden, under the pergola, they enjoy a short nature walk and a landscape stretching out to the horizon. In the spirit of Maarava’s “Farm-to-Table” philosophy, our bartenders use fresh fruits, vegetables and aromatic herbs to create the tastiest and most refreshing cocktails. For those who like their drinks ‘straight up’, we serve the leading brands of whiskey, bourbon, vodka, wine, and beer. Guests can enjoy our alcoholic beverages in two different locations – on the southern terrace or in the banquet hall – that way the good spirits flow throughout the evening!
